A rare find for collectors of artisanal American design! This is an authentic, true vintage statement belt from Marnie Bugs (by designer Marnie Jane Cooper), purchased in the early 2000s.Known for her \"wearable sculpture\" aesthetic, this belt is a powerhouse of quality and style. It features a unique segmented construction with heavy-duty hardware that has aged beautifully over 20+ years. Why it’s special: True Vintage: Early 2000s era, well-preserved by a single owner. Superior Quality: Ultra-thick, rich espresso brown leather that is still supple and strong. Signature Hardware: Featuring iconic solid brass O-ring connectors, rivets, and grommets. Craftsmanship: Hand-stitched with contrasting cream thread; handcrafted in the USA. Measurements & Fit: Total Length: 41.25 inches Width: 2.75 inches (Dramatic wide-waist profile) Versatility: The multi-grommet end allows for significant adjustment. Best suited for sizes Medium to Large (approx. 32\"–36\" waist/hip depending on styling). Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition. No cracks in the leather or loose threads. The brass has a stunning natural patina that only comes with age. This is a substantial, heavy piece built to last another 20 years.
